Re: Should I leave the Fuel Tank in the Cab?
man, after reading all of this, I am not sure I am going to move the tank to the rear from the cab now. my son really wants to put some subs and an amp behind the seat so I bought a tank to move to the rear. but after some saying it is a pain to move and some saying it is a pita to fill I am second guessing my self now. what do you all think.... so unless I can find room for a amp and subs, speakers in the door what do i do... now I am confused

Re: Should I leave the Fuel Tank in the Cab?
i'm moving mine to the back with a homemade tank!!
a-cause its a daily driver and with nothing on the back theres no weight back there,so this helps. b- i could smell fumes every now and then and i did feel a little uncomfortable c- when i put the cd player in, i had the speakers sliding back and forwards under the seat cause theres nowhere else to put them so they are going in that space d- this thing about being in an accident is a big crapshoot!!! how many people die from little fender benders versus big tank splitting fireball rear-enders or roll over-petrolspill in the cab type-burn to death events is a never-ending debate-----we live we die- thats life!!! |
