That is a cool picture of that 1966 4x4 coming out of a creek or river. I wish there was another picture from a different angle.

More renderings of the truck from post #100.

That GMC is KICKASS!!! Its to bad those tires are in such bad shape. I like the old V pattern maximum traction type of tires

Those aint no home dogs in the back, either.....
They know the dude in the cab....Ya' can imagine what was said (in dog-speak) just before the ol' guy eased into the water...."if we start out up here against the cab, we might still be in the box when he shuts her down on the other side..."

Yeah, :D

The Older dog looks like he's done this before and knows to stay down.

The younger black and white dog appears to be holding on for dear life.

How do you know it was a dude? It could have been a 4 wheeling chick and these dogs were probably saying what Scooby Doo would say 'Rut-ro Shaggy!' Here we go! Hang on if you want to make it to the other side.

Back to 4x4's after a little detour by motornut. Here is a nice GMC 4x4 stepside that was sold at a Barrett Jackson auction.

I thought this would get your attention and get you fired up. Here are a couple of pics of a 1964 Chevy with a utility bed.

All right...
LM65.....I lost my mind for a minute...
You posted the blue '66 (which Gil posted first) with the Stahl box...and I got all worked up 'cause THAT is a beautiful truck...and I complimented Gil.
So Gil put up the great lookin pic of the '64 (with the Powers set-up) and I still can't get enough of these rolling tool boxes........
Now that we have that straightened out....
My Wife....(who is always on top of the situation) spotted the dude in the back-ground of the '64 gettin' ready to "smile for the camera".........
I sure am grateful that the photographer wasn't a few seconds slower on the trigger.....

This is the one time that you may get more than you bargained for if you were the one behind the camera and said smile and say CHEESE!!

A.T. RockDriller here is a link to the blue GMC utility bed if you want to see a few more pics and a video of it. http://captrussell.smugmug.com/Rober...42221062_VEyDT

The Blue Truck above may have originally came with a box, but the one it has now isn't original.
This Dark Grey Truck appears to have the original Utilco Box like mine.
I really would of liked to keep my original box, but it really needed a lot of work.

After a long hot summer here in Arizona and a whole lot of this country. I am ready for some cooler weather. How about a White Out of 60-66 4x4's to help make it seem like it is colder.
