Ilkka, sorry I spelled your name wrong.

My brother has cleaned the door bracket. My brother spent weeks at work about 250 miles from home, but he took some parts into what can be fixed there in the evening.

Can anyone say where we can buy 10x15" rally wheels trim rings?? Here in Finland was found only 8x15" wheels trim rings, but not 10x15" rally wheels trim rings. :(

The paint looks really good. Sorry I can't help on the trim rings. I have no idea. What did your brother use to clean the door panels?

Thanks LT7A! My brother cleaned the door panels with Autoglym interior shampoo. (Picture)

I think we also buy rear wheels the same trim rings as front wheels. We tried it (3" trim rings) rear wheel and I think it looks pretty good. The left is 15x10 and on the right is 15x8.

Thanks for the tip on the Autoglym shampoo. Do you know if your brother used it on the plastic part too? It looks very good. Usually the panels have to be sprayed with dye to look that good.

I think the trim rings look fine on the wider wheels. Have you considered leaving them off? Personally, I like the trim rings on the white wheels with hubcaps and I like the silver rally wheels like yours without rings. The wheels with just the silver looks good to me. Again, that's just an opinion.

Youīre welcome! My brother cleaned the door panels completely(plastic+textile) with that material as instructed, using the sponge.

No, we donīt leave trim rings off. We want that truck looks original except a little bit lower than original and wider rear wheels+tires than original. That is a plan. ;)

Where are you ordering your body panels from? I live in Austria and its almost impossible to find any original replacement body parts unless you order from the US.

Thanks

Paul

We have purchased most of the parts of Finland, the company is called Southwest trade. They have lots of parts in stock. Some small parts we have purchased from USA (Rockauto). But I think every body parts are made in Taiwan and those quality is quite poor. You have to modify them so you can get a good fit.

The painter has been diligent when we have been ill in the past week. The cabin is now painted inside.
