Another member accused me of being too hard on my rig after I mentioned some breakage. I think its has more to do with how MUCH I get to go. I try for every other weekend. The off-road park is only about a 5 mile drive from my house. :metal:

Looking forward to your turkey day pix!

Secretly I work for the Spokane chamber of commerce. My goal is to get you all to move here so we can all go wheeling together. ;)

Finally got some other big trucks to the park and BOOM goes my front drive shaft. :whine:

The Blazer/Rabbit, Farveg-blazer thing was a mid-70's Blazer. He also had driveline issues. Never the less it was a fun day. :)

I think Johnny's pics prove he's no poser, but I thought I'd vouch for him & let everyone know he's a wheeler & a hell-of-a-guy. I got to wheel with him once & want to get out there with him more, but need to get a clutch & new set of tires on the dd :banghead: Thanks for making people want to come to Spokane, maybe a board meet is in order? & thanks again for keeping me posted on when you'll be out there - maybe me & a couple others can get out there with you soon! :metal:

Was feeling a little left out, so this is my lateset off road adventure. I'm actually working, no really, I'm working! :D I had to go up to a radio transmitter site & get it working. I didn't enjoy trying to get up there at all! Actually, I love my job & you fellas would probably not like me much if you knew some of the things we "had" to do to do our jobs. Toasted the clutch some more getting up there. Not sure how I made it home, but it's still holding.

Finally hit the park with some hard core guys from a local 4x4 shop. These guys don't mess around. Very impressive and actually a little discouraging to see what a smaller serious rig can do, compared to my tank, but still very cool.

Thanks to Joe and Luke from Central 4x4! :metal:

More from the W.C.P.W. 11-25-07. 7 Mile off-road park. Spokane, Wa. :)

The Yota blew a burfield-joint and a tire bead in the rocks. Good times.

Remember that ad that said "Dont hate me cuz' I'm beautiful"?? Well dont worry I'm not claiming to be beautiful, but, wheelin' conditions this last weekend were the best ever!!! Sunday I found 6" of new but melting snow in the rain and WOW! was it fun. I took lots & lots of pix!! :metal: Easily the most fun I've had at the off-road park. :)

I could climb almost anything, but it was weird. I would have good wheel speed but it took a while to get thru the snow and the top layers of dirt before you could advance. Lots of great sideways powerslides and long slow climbs!! :)

I work retail and thus, Saturdays. That makes Sun/Mon. my weekend. Fortunatly my best friend Jordan is a bartender and has Mondays off too.
It rained (record totals) all day & night Sun/Mon. So I had to go back out to the park.

I love what the heavy rain does to the park. Lots of new temporary "creeks" and mini-waterfalls and my favorite, new gullies to drive thru.

I am so jealous that you have that place so close to you!

So I'm lolly-gagging along and not paying attention when BAM! I broke through the ice that I didnt even know I was on. Of course I floored it hoping to power through but it stopped me like I hit a wall. It hit so hard and make such strange noises I thought I blew a tire and broke something.

But everything was fine and she just backed right out.

So for those of you who are a little jealous of my frequent 4x4 trips and maybe a bit irritated w the W.C.P.W.......this is for you.

Call it karma. The two "skid marks" in the snow marked by the red arrows are where my feet slipped out from under me and I went down...hard. :waah:
Nearly knocked myself out. But I'm all better now. :bann:
