No other info was listed. I don't believe it was his truck, just one from his hometown.

Look at how rusty this already is. I wonder what part of the country this was taken in. From the looks of the gas station I would think this was 1970s, early 80's at the most recent, and that fender is just gone.

I had the same thoughts about the rust!

I ran across this picture in a news story. Looks like the back end of a step-side in the upper right of the picture, but the image is dated 1971 so it could be a square body.

Not sure what this couple was up to in 1971. I had already been drafted and was off doing my tour of duty, so I don't know what was going on back in the world.

I know who they are......and what they were up to. Looks like a red 67-71 stepper there over her shoulder to me.

not TOO far back in time, but it was in black & white (when I found it) - if anyone can tell me the singer AND song it was in... you get bonus points.
(ok, the singer won't be that hard, he's in the pic). NICE truck!

Cool picture of Al Rohr Chevrolet in Newton, Illinois. I couldn't believe this picture. I student taught at Newton in 1971. Bought my first new vehicle at Rohr's, a '71 El Camino. Louie Ochs sold it to me. He bought the dealership from Al and still still owns it.

Where is the picture? I can’t see it. My Grandma bought a new 69 Impala from Al and I remember the delivery. Wife and I have bought several vehicles from Louie over the years. He started there in early 1960’s and bought the dealership in 1984.

Not a super old pic, but nostalgic enough for me. Out on a trail riding excursion with wifey, before kids. Seems like another lifetime.

^^that pic was taken in 1965. I can tell from the plates, they used to change every year in Ontario, and each year in the 60s had different colours. See my 65s for reference:

Super cool picture ! We did the same. I used to drive a 1965 carryall up north pulling a trailer load of bikes with all my buddies inside. Then I met Deb and we took the white K10 with the bike in the back. Great times. Still have the bike and the truck too !
