You can still find dazed and confused cars at walmart. I have some extras and I have seen them listed here by a few people and there are a lot on ebay. Prices are pretty good too because there are so many available.

I have a Welly pull back chevy truck with clearance lights. It's bigger than a 1/64 scale, if I was to guess, it's about a 1/48 scale. They came in 2 tone in a variety of colors. Got mine on ebay.

Ertl made a truck, 1/64 scale for promotional use with a GMC style grill, but it says chevrolet on the tailgate:crazy: The easiest way to find it on ebay is looking for a Bell System truck, or Pioneers, which was the way it was packaged. I think it was used for a couple other versions, but can't say for certain because I haven't had any others in hand to compare and the pictures I had didn't have the detail needed.

I have a few of the Loc Riderz extra. PM me if you want some.

Hope this covers your questions.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Watch the quality/finish on the 1:24 D&C trucks. A lot of them had poor finishes. I saw some in the stores that had fingerprints in the paint and scratches. They had these clear rubber-bands put in from the factory, to help hold them in place in the box; a lot of times the bands will leave marks.
All this with factory sealed/taped boxes.
I bought 5 total of the 1:24 scale between two different Wal Mart stores here in Abilene. Three had blemishes. I kept 1 with blemishes and took two back for a refund. The store still had one of the a couple of days ago. I sold the other two good ones here on the site.
I still find lots of the 1:87 scale trucks. Hard to find the 1:64 though.

Since I let that one go (it sold for $165(!)), does anyone have a lead on the Highway 61 green & white or red '69s?

Well, the hotwheel in my avatar is now in my office. Paid way too much for it on eBay, but the odds of me ever finding on on the pegs are remote.

Here is a new one. I bought two off of eBay this morning with combined shipping for a total of $14.00. Cheaper for me than driving to all of the area Wal-marts. There are 14 more available at Item number: 260162525370.

Ya, I am waiting for my white lightning in this blazer to arrive now. I also bought 10 from the seller that I got the white lightning from. WES

Hey WES. Did you ever receive all of your Blazer purchases from marks-collectibles10, the seller Hook'em is referring to? I purchased some from him a couple of weeks after you did. Bought and paid on the same day with Paypal. I had to file a claim with Paypal to get mine. Finally received mine at 3 weeks after purchase. He never replied to ANY emails or messages through ebay. No reason as to the slow shipping.

No, I never did receive my Blazers from him. I have read back in his feedback, and all of his bad or nutral feedback is always because of issues like that. He had shipped my blazers out, but the post office did not deliver them to me. They went somewhere else. I maintained that it was his responcibility to make sure that I got them. That is what I do in my business. If someone doesn't receive a part, I ship out another and file the claim with the shipping company. Hey Hook'em, I hope that you do not have the same problems as we have. WES

Robert and I both. Looks like he bought a couple too.

Based upon the volume that he sells, the negatives were few. Sorry to hear of your experience.

I am glad you pointed out the White Lightnings, I didn't even know such an animal existed. Are there WL in each of the blazer models? I have seen a few, but the only one I like is the yellow. Most of the white rims don't look very good, IMHO. Doesn't mean I am not going to look for them.

All but the white Blazer. I have white lightnings for all of the colors. Matter of fact I have 3 white lightnings in the red blazer, 3 white lightnings in the coke blazer, 2 white lightnings in the gree blazer, 3 white lightnings in the yellow blazer, 2 white lightnings in the blue blazer, and now one in the silver. White lightnings were 1% to 2% of the total amount made. WES

Re: Die-cast 67-72

White rims do not always signafy a white lightning either. Some have white tires, some white interior, some white bottoms, the blue blazer has white interior and darker tinted windows.. You have to watch what the normal cars look like and look for the differences. You can also find out what the white lightnings are on the Johny Lightning website. WES

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Yeah, I bought two more from him before I remembered the name. It had been a while, and I was thinking it was another seller. I was just so anxious to get them, that I didn't go back and check. Hopefully, he won't remember my name on the shipping address. My earlier purchase was under a different ebay user name.

I think JL make White Lightnings in everything they make, at least the 1:64 scale. I had a Green Blazer WL, but sold it. Yeah, the white tires look weird to me too, but that helps set them apart from the other.

Hey Hot Wheels collectors. Kmart is having another Kmart Days tomorrow. Saturday, September 22, 2007. Here's a link with more information.
http://www.hotwheelscollectors.com/n...ue&news_id=635

I've never been to one. I think I may go just to see if they might possibly have the new Super Treasure Hunt Custom 69 Stepside that "Hook'em" has as his avatar.
If you're like me, it will probably be the best chance to ever come across a Treasure Hunt or Super Treasure Hunt.

Classic Heartbeat 09-21-2007 08:22 PM

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Fun to go to, however they won't have the super treasure hunt pickup yet. They are not do out until October some time. WES

Re: Die-cast 67-72

I like that Super Treasure Chest 69, but I sure don't like the price they want for it on E-bay.

I picked up the RIS black/silver 67, a gray dubs 85 and one of the yellow High Rollers at Walmart today. I almost picked up both 57 suburbans also, but I'm not into the 4x4s as much.

Hey Wes, you ever get any more of your custom 57 Panels done yet?
