GREAT looking build! Where did you relocate the battery ? And your AC deflector balls look terrific! Have you found a plastic plater or replacements?

Thanks for sharing!

Older thread, I know...but, what kind of radiator and fan set up did you go with? Don't remember reading about that

Very nice, very clean. What did you use for the cold air intake set up, a kit available somewhere or pieced together ?

I ordered a replacement 1965 Impala Aluminum Radiator, modified the mounts on my truck and had a couple extra bungs added for the steam line, I also had a fan shroud custom built for it. I believe its a 14 inch fan, I think it's a 2000 cfm, pull fan.

I relocated the battery under the bed, passenger side. Battery box that drops down for maintenance, etc. The terminal under the hood are for trickle charging and jump starting.

Ac deflector ball were re-chromed back east, plastic plater/chrome. I could find the details on that if you want. I could not find replacement deflector balls any where.

No not for what I wanted to do the frame rail was in the way. You would have to cut and reinforce the frame rail to have kept it in the lower position. So I guess you could if you reinforced the frame.

Doors - One-Piece glass project! It very long and tedious process, fitting and refitting, you need patients, you can't rush this!

Here are some interior details! Custom made vent plugs, Speaker box, customer redesigned kickers moving speaker to the vent hole. So you won't lick the speaker and I'm not using the vents anymore. Remember I also closed up the cowl vent on the hood. See past pages for picture on that.

Here is the final pictures, for now I don't know if anyone is really finished. Sense these pictures where taken I have lowered it 2 1/2 front spindles, and 3-inch rear coil.
Next show or when I have it out next, I will take some pictures of the stance and post it.

That is AWESOME. Question for you, I have a set of shaved doors with no glass, was considering the solid window. How hard was the swap to that? Would you do it again??
