Great work on the axle mounts and Nice cleannnnn welds, like that!
Even slow progress is better then no progress. You'll have one sweet ride soon enough!
keep it up Nate!

Thanks Chad, I use to weld every day as a fabricator. I really enjoyed welding aluminum (mig and tig). Did a lot of custom work on commercial, utility and emergency vehicles.

As far as progress, I gave up on a dead line for a finished truck :sumo: Now I just give myself short term goals with flexible deadlines

Re: Project Blue Goose

No pics but I pressure washed the frame, rear-end, and misc. brackets. I am going to stitch weld the trailing arms along the seams this week and then off for powder coating :metal: Well not the rear-end yet unless I find time to tear it down. Thanks, Nate

Nice looking build, love the color. I also stiched welded my trailing arms. I hear you on the deadlines, i have been working on mine for 2 years now and the only thing I have showing for it is a rolling chassis lol. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, I would like to have my chassis rolling my Memorial Day. Well that's my plan

Hey thanks, you gonna have any white on your truck? Its definitely an odd color that you don't see driving down the street ;)

I got the trailing arms stitch welded. Now I am just trying to line up a day, borrow a truck and get my stuff to the powder coaters

Well originally the GMC tailgates had a silver color in the embossed area around the GMC but I'm gonna go white. It'll match my wheels and the silver wouldn't match anything. I'll probably get some more modern wheels later though and the white will still be okay.
