Took advantage of the local pick n pull 40% off Memorial day weekend sale and got a headliner and headliner trim that is in awesome shape. Paid 20$ for everything. When my truck gets back from paint I will put it on with some fatmat on the roof.

The truck I got it from was a 74 Cheyenne super short bed, it definitely did not deserve to be in the junkyard no rust and the cab was pretty straight the bed however was shot. It also had a nicer woodgrain dash with matching door panels.

At one time I had a 74 Chyeene Super. Blue and white. Probably should have kept it.

Ok guys looks like photobucket decided to nerf all my pictures unless I subscribe to them for a monthly fee, so for now on I gotta use a different host to upload from.

I used Photobucket for my build thread also. I just checked it and kind of expected my pictures to be gone, but they are still there. Not sure what the deal is. I don't think I was paying a fee. Guess I better check my credit card!

Got the raptor liner sprayed today and some color sanding done. Sandpaper used was 1500, 2500, 3000.

How many coats of the Raptor Liner is that? It doesn't look extremely thick. I was planning on using that on the underside of the cab and bed as well as in the bed.

Yea been almost 3 months.

I do not know, I will ask the painter when I pick it up. I have heard that raptor liner is pretty good for the money. I just don't have the coin for linex. I don't work this truck that hard anyway so hopefully it will last.

My uncle paints airplanes for a living (he just finished one of Trump's personal planes) this is one of his workers that paints cars on the side.

Ok here it is all done. There are a few spots that need to be touched up and the roof needs to be re cleared. Besides that it looks good.

Update? I haven't done much to the truck, just been driving it. I added the wheel arch moldings that come on silverado models, breaks up the red nicely. I still need to have the roof redone and some spots touched up, but it polishes out nicely. I will be putting the truck in my local chevy dealer car show in a couple of weeks so today I cleaned up the engine bay. I still need to get a steering column as well.

Went to Azusa Canyon today and finally got to test my traction adders, adjustable shocks and my sway bar disconnect such a huge difference does way more than I asked it to do.

Unfortunately, this one did a little bit of damage to my front plate and it drug the transfer case xmember on the way back off.

That looks like big time fun! The bent plate isn't the end of the world, you didn't put a lift, big tires, and lockers in it to have it look pretty in the driveway. Enjoy all the hard work you put into it.��
