Shoot a pm to Dirts's72 - local board member who used to own this blazer and knows the seller. IMO it's worthwhile as a candidate as it is relatively unmolested. It has rust. I saw it once. More pics of it on the survivor blazer thread.

A little help here guys. Blazer is definitely not a 72'. Looks like a 69-70 with a 71-72 grill and front bumper? The doors don't have the wing window screw and they have the 69-70 mirrors. The "4 wheel drive" emblem is an earlier emblem too. Maybe even a one year, 1970? Missing all the lower belt moundings so may not be a CST? Wrong rear seat.

Would help to see if it has Front disc brakes and seeing the SPID would clear up most all of the questions.

Doors look to be truck doors from what I can see and is it just me or am I not seeing the embossed tailgate??? Looks like a repop. Definitely need to see the spid as well

Great catch on the repop tailgate! Totally missed that. No carpet hold down in the rear and no CST rear panel on the driver's side. SPID would answer a lot of the questions and inconsistencies.

I just can't stomach the values on these trucks today. 10 years ago this was a $6k-$8k truck. Now it's $30k? Mostly cuz I sold mine too early, but also cuz I'd like to pick one up again, but can't see paying $xx,xxx for a relatively rusted body and some 45yo carpet.

This just sold in Norfolk, VA yesterday for $900. I talked to the seller on the phone a couple hours too late, she said her father-in-law drove it back and forth to work for years, and then it sat in her garage for 15+ years. 60,000 original miles! There's definitely still some great projects out there.

When did you talk to her? I saw the listing 4 hours after it was posted. Texted twice that night and tried calling several times the next day and never got a response. I would have paid 3x that.
