Nice looking battery tray. I probably would have done the same but I have a horn in the way on that fender. Hopefully easy to unbolt from the fender if you ever need to remove your fender for work on the headers or starter.

Thanks! Very easy to unbolt. Funny you mention horns I was thinking a few days ago where to put them. I plan on mounting my horns on the bottom pan that is attached to the grill.

Starting off by using paint remover on the doors. It actually removed quite a bit. Next it to use knot twisted wire cup brush to get the rest off. More work than I thought it was going to be.

Thanks!!!!! I'm trying but life keeps getting in the way. Had shoulder surgery for a torn labrum 2 months ago and that definitely slowed down my progress.

Got the doors on today. The high was only 101 although Wednesday its supposed to be 111 degrees. They need some work and so do the windows but I just want to get them on there. I found someone through a friend to do the wiring for $400. He will get it done way faster than what I would.

Looking good! Pretty sure my first drive I didn't even have doors. I was too excited to hear it run and go for a drive haha.

Got the front bumper mount made and the bumper mounted. I will post pictures of the actual mount later. The bumper is about 2.5 inches back than stock.

Had surgery on my wrist about 3 weeks ago and haven't really done much. Put the logo on the door and rusted the door today. Threw some plywood in the bed. Going to use it as a Halloween prop on Thursday.

Nice work !

what is your method of 'Rusting'?

Re: Starting a 52 Chevy 3100 Project.

In my opinion tucking in the front bumper is one of the most worthwhile modifications one can make to our trucks. Kind of a chip foose thing....."should have come that way from the factory " haha.

Thanks!!!! I just need to rap up all the little electrical stuff to wire it. I had a ganglion cyst removed from my wrist and had no idea it would be so invasive.

16oz Peroxide, 2oz Vinegar, 1 tablespoon of salt in a spray bottle.

Totally agree. I even dropped it a little. It is too far out there from the factory.

Well wired up the front end. Headlights, turn signals, and horns. Also put some LED headlights with H4 bulbs on it. Next up the rear taillights and license plate lights. I need to take the driveline back off so hoping to do that this week because its an inch too long.

Exactly. Everyone has heard. I researched it quite a bit and never found anyone who actually had the issue. Did find a video explaining why it changes the gravity a little but said it was not enough to actually cause any issues. My guess would be guys with big trucks with big heavy tires have problems with spacers and bearings. There are arguments that go both ways. I really didn't want to spend $1000 for some custom A-arms. Maybe down the road if I have issues but I suspect I will not.

Truck looks awesome. Not to hijack this thread but what are the options for longer control arms? thanks...

I am trying to duplicate what you have done with the neutral safety switch. Where did you get the longer 4L60E shifter shaft?

Thanks.
