Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
Thanks guys!
I am very happy with the way the wheels look on the truck. I looked at several other wheels choices but kept coming back to the Vintecs. I think the wheel fits the style of the truck perfectly. |
Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
What size rims and tires are you running? Not sure if you said it and I just missed it.

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB

Nice truck you have their sir. I wish I could find a C10 of that year group around here but it seems we are riddled with the K series. Nothing against them, I have a K30 that I want to build. After seeing all these cool lowered C10's I want to find one to build.

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
Nice man. Im really checking out the interior pictures. If I do half of what your dad did my 78 will be totally acceptable for me. All I need is dash pad, door panels, carper or rubber dash guage panel etc oh, and new seat lol. But till then its a cool Rat Rod, right?

Just gorgeous. Beautiful work!

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
This was a fun project, glad I got to be part of it. Justin bought all the right parts and they all fit great. It was nice to work on a truck that was not all hacked up and destroyed by the previous owners. Justin always amazes me by making a perfect truck even better. I cant wait to see what he has for future plans on this truck.

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
Thanks guys! I am happy with the way it turned out.
Just a few more small things then time to fire & tune. Then a good detail cleaning. Quote:
It was a fun (yet cold) weekend... I have feeling back in my toes finally! |

How do you like the hinges?
|
Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB

They also will allow you to have you hood open at different heights which was important to me too. I don't like my hood open fully at shows, I like it open more even with the top of the cab. |
Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
Look really good man. They are proud of them but they sure are nice. Get what you pay for. Engine looks great too!

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
it gets better and better!

Re: 1 Owner 1976 SWB
I'd like to say that this is one of the cleanest street driven trucks I've seen in person. Very well put together with good quality parts and a lot of time well spent.. It's gonna put a huge smile on my face to see that thing cruising down the road next show season! Awesome job JWall.

I got my Optima Battery & Cover Painted black & installed.
Also, installed new longer cables to be able to install the battery backwards to hide the cables and connections. I just need to find an Optima style battery hold down. Attachment 1191607 Attachment 1191608 Attachment 1191609 |
