Heres my 65 GMC One Ton'er I've had for a few months now. It got put to work soon as it got home.

Loaded with 12 6"x6"x16' posts in roughly 60 2"x6"x14' boards

Found a good deal on newer 16" wheels with good tread tires and new simulators and with a lighter load.

:chevy:Wheels look great. Are you going to restore it or just put it to work? I haven't done anything to mine this summer, too hot and too many other summer projects. I am looking forward to working on mine again again, I would like to have it finished by next summer. I will post pictures again as I progress with the project. :chevy:
God Bless you and yours and God Bless the USA!!!!!

thanks. been sick most of this week and have not got alot done, i want to get started on the inside but i need to fab up my outriggers also, but my idea for the cab is , bed line the floor so i can hose it out, paint the inside hmm not sure of the color yet, but i want a red bench seat. the speedo will stay but all the other gauges will be autometer.

I really like the 1 tons with the 69-72 front clip on them. Going to do a doghouse swap on my c10 and the c30. I think they will work out better that way

Awesome truck. Just my style for a driver. I'm interested in seeing how you did the 4wd conversion as well.

well i added some more tool boxes , it's funny how fast you run out of tool storage, but then i had to make sure that no crack heads were going to be able to take them, so now if they want them they will have to work for it, next i will spot weld each nut so they just cant try to unbolt them, the aluminum is 1/4 thick and those are some bis A$$ locks.

Re: 1 ton dually pics post

hey thanks guys, well it was pretty easy, i got discouraged with my real 1 ton frame because of rust, this trucks frame was a 1/2 ton frame so the 1 ton conversion just consisted of axles, cats outta the bag its a fake k30!

Im preaty sure the wheels are original to the truck and are 18in not exactly sure of the width, the spid says the spare is 18x5. Still has bias ply tires on it also.
