Funny, I haven't liked the stake body for being out of proportion. And I also am not big on collecting Coke stuff. But I really like this one.Coke did actually operate short heavy stake bodies for vending machine pickup/delivery. The sides were high for the tall machines. And I like that it isn't all chromed up, white wheels and all. Has an authentic look about it

Got my Stars & Stripes '67 and one of the 100th Anniversary ones. I also, while I was at it, bought a lime green Blackwalls Bywayman with perfect paint (loose). One more thing. I got an Ertl pressed steel GMC S15, 1/16 scale. I like that it's a less common promo. I had a red TSC one in the box I bought way back whenever that I sold when I started carving the collection down. Shoot, I sold some of the old Bywayman Hot Wheels, too.

What do you think of the Greenlight Hiway 61s?

Nice detail, what scale?

Nice detail for 1/64, but I forgot to mention, 1/16. That's what all Hwy 61s were. When I found out GL was bringing back the HWY 61s I got excited. Talking to another guy, he said they left much to be desired. Now I see what he meant. Nowhere near the quality of casting from before. At a glance you see a '70 C/10, but I could tear it up with criticism. I'll keep it to the same thing that bugs me on their 1/64s, that silly silver paint all around the door windows. I mean look at any real truck, that is not there so why do an extra step to add what does not belong? GL needs an advisor on accuracy on these trucks. Or just look at some pictures of real trucks.

Those things are cool. I've been looking at them. I need those 2 plus Bigfoot at least. There are also dirty versions of them I'd like also. I'll probably have to resort to eBay unless I get lucky and my Hobby Lobby ever stocks them.

The AM/PM , "The Boss", truck was a cool early years monster truck. It was built and ownd by Seth Doulton... founder of Golden State Pickup Parts, National Chevy/GMC Truck Assoc, and the All GM Truck Nationals show At Carlisle (Along with Truckin' mag). He also ran the Skoal/Copenhagen monster trucks

2nd Series of King of Crunch includes three more Chevy trucks - a plain black, a blue USA-1, and ExTerminator:

I need the blue USA-1. The black one has tolerable for big street (but could use coming down to them a foot or so) tire diameter. Something good for building customs... that are more life-like.

I haven't been buying any at all until last weekend. I missed my favorite Greenlight buying show Sun, but I got four at a swap meet on Sat: 100th anniversary '62, '67, & '69, and purple "Flames" '69. The I was at Walmart and they had two of the '62 American Truck Series I got
