Definitely looks sharp! Also looks like a car show in the background!

What brand name of gears did you use? Yukon or GM or ???

thanks yes the guys meet every friday night everyone was all over it taking pictures

we went with Yukon gears and axles no noise at all so my guy must have them shimmed just right!

looking at new motors now not sure which direction i will go yet in the meantime she is running great so no rush but i think that will be the next project

Toying with the idea of going with an LS and a 6 speed manual!
that'll wake it up!

getting delivered tomorrow according to the tracking

ceramic coated long tube headers and serpentine ready to go in with it

2400 stall converter coming in a few days so i guess we have a few days to get the old motor out and clean up the engine bay a bit

came with this Holly carb but i intend to upgrade it to a double pumper after i drive it with this one for a little while

i am thinking of picking up some trim rings for the factory steelies any recommendations as to which to get? wide or narrow seems to be the choice here

Mine have the wider ones from what I can tell. But if I recall a lot g time ago, it came with the more narrower ones. I think I liked the smaller ones but it's been years and years since I've seen it. Sorry, on vacation 😀. Sitting in Clearwater, stayed a few days at Ritz in Sarasota...great time. Couldn't talk wife in seeing a Blazer...for some reason.

Nice. as soon as mine is done we are taking a wife and dogs trip to vilano beach florida which is above St Augustine and you can take 4x4's up the deep sand beaches for miles.

We run like 10psi in the tires and go surf fishing at night with a campfire on the beach. Looking forward to going after the motor is dialed in.

too busy to start the swap but all the parts are here i just received the 2400 stall converter so we are ready now

of course i been driving it all week trying to blow the old motor up no chance she is running like a champ really exercising the suspension trying to shake any bugs out but everything held together

had the stock steering column rebuilt took all the play out of it nice and firm now

Holly AED 750 double pumper

decided to put this on the new motor and put the holly 650 that came with the motor on my 65 c-10 it has a smaller motor and may do better with the holly 650

thanks buffy yes I'm digging it funny we end up talking to everyone we see everywhere we go young and old everyone seems to love it i was getting gas and a 30 something woman told me she loved my durango! i told her it was a blazer and she said you mean a bronco? said she had never seen anything like it but loved it. I smile every time i see it too. new motor should add to the party! :metal:
