Great product! I've only got one issue. The throttle is a good inch above my brake pedal, but my brake pedal is not on the rest. My question is with power brakes does the brake pedal rest against the stop?

How far off of the stop is it? I think it should rest again the stop regardless of power or not, at least all of mine have.

It's got a good inch before it touches the stop. Do you think there is that much adjustment in the rod?

Looking back through this thread most of the pictures show the brake pedal higher. Here is one a little furthur back in this thread shows what mine looks like.

Here is what mine looks like. I took it loose & tried to adjust it back some. I made about 5 full turns and the end fell off in my hand. So it looks like there isn't enough adjustment there to make it come close to touching the stop. You can see where I cut the pedal & tried to make it work then welded it back.

I would try to figure out a way to lengthen the brake pedal rod as it should really be resting on the stop. Your local hardware store should have some all thread and couplers to help you accomplish this.

Hi Rob.

I bought your pedal bracket a while back and have gotten around to installing it today. It seems that the pattern for mounting to the firewall is off.
Assuming the orientation in the picture is correct (other than the picture is 90 degrees counterclockwise), my actual holes in the truck are 1.50 between the top holes and 2.00 to the bottom one.

Not sure whats up but, no big deal, I'll take it to work tomorrow and just slot the holes.

Tony - it looks like your firewall has the 73-87 pedal bolt pattern. Just use the bottom hole on the triangle and redrill the top two holes. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No problem. Strange that my 71 would have a different pattern, but oh well. It will still save me a bunch of time and fabrication!

It is odd, but I've seen about 4 or 5 of them. Luckily it's an easy fix, :metal:.

I'm fitting my DBW gas pedal in my AD. It's the same as in the pic. It is comfortable to have the gas pedal ahead of the brake pedal. Mines looking the same in order to get full travel.

Man, do you have ANY way to make a 97-04 Corvette pedal to work in a 66 C10?

No one has mentioned that Michael, I wonder if the 67 plug is in a different location then the 68-72?

Re: DBW Gas Pedal Adpater bracket for truck/suv pedal

i made the cut larger than it had to be but after i did that it worked perfect. i wouldnt doubt the plug location being just a bit lower on a 67.
