Thanks John, hope to be driving it this summer, I have been wide open on it, the week and a half Christmas vacation really helped :chevy:

I keep going deeper and deeper on my new engine. I'll be amazed if mine gets out this year (unless we hit the powerball and I can get everything I need to finish it sooner).

Truck's looking great, and it's good to see you getting some therapy in after a couple hard hits lately. Is this primer close to the final color? I'm definitely liking the direction you're taking with this truck and look forward to seeing those massive tires under it for the first time.

Thanks Corey, yes therapy is great !! ;) The primer is very close to the final color, it is actually an olive colored 2k primer so it does give a good idea of the final look. I am about to take the body back apart and start priming and painting the individual parts which at that point I can also get the motor and tranny on the frame and my exhaust all fitted and mounted. Tires and wheels are being mounted today. :chevy:

I am thinking I may have to get shorter drop springs for the rear :smoke: I guess I will know more once the front is sitting on its own and I have the drive train installed to get the weight down on it :chevy:

I'd love to have them for my patina '68 in place of the stock chrome ones. :D

Looks awesome! It's definitely going to stand out from the crowd with that rear setup.

That is what I have achieved to do :mm: stand out with some thing you do not see, this old school setup is not something you see much of anymore plus my theme is set to be unusual. YBNORMAL ;)

Think I may have to build a pair of tubs :chevy:

Loving the build. Just read it all. Man I love those wheels and with the old school motor. I have a buddy with the exact same wheels and tire size. Looks killer. I almost went with the same setup on mine. Are you going to weld two inner fenders together to make the tubs?
