Started to make my cuts to the bed wood and strips for the access panels to the rear end housing and gas tank fillers. Next will be making the cuts for the widened wheel tubs.

Slid into place like a factory fit. Looks like 73 up internals. Of all aftermarket parts I have this is by far the best quality part without a doubt.

Did you order a universal or the one that calls for your truck? Do you have part #s?

I opened the engine to see what was not letting it turn
found that 1,7, and number 2 cylinders had white powder in them causing them not let pistons to come up to top of stroke, removed intake, removed heads, , after cleaning them, the motor turns with no problems
now will go and get new gaskets and put her back together, and see if she will run

Just scored this set of original wheels with rusty trim rings and great condition center caps from a '63. The vehicle has been in one family.

Not bad for $50!

Mocked up the new bed wood before the truck left for paint.
