Parting out 88' Suburban 4x4
I just picked up this 88' Suburban 4x4. I bought it for parts for my 88' CC. I will say that the body has some rust but the inside is pretty clean and in decent shape. The interior is gray.
The things I am taking for myself include: dash pad, dash bezels, gauge cluster, door panels, steering column, front bucket seats & console, 2nd row seat, seatbelts (except 3rd row), grille & headlight bezels, hood, bumper push guards, mirrors, washer fluid reservoir, wing windows. Items that are pending sale at the moment include: 350 tbi motor w/ 110K miles, front & rear axles I know that doesn't leave much left but basically any interior behind the 2nd row seat will be available. I am not familiar with Suburbans that well so bare with me. I do know it has rear heat. I believe is has rear A/C because it has vents mounted against the roof above the cargo space. It also has the rear spoiler/air deflector (appears to be stainless). The stereo is original and looks to be in amazing shape! I do not know its working condition yet. I'm sure there are many other misc. parts specific to a suburban so hopefully somebody can get some good from them. If there are any misc. parts you are interested in let me know and I will get you a price on that item. Please bare with me as I work full time and farm also. This time of year is quite busy for me but I will do my best to reply often and return PM's in an orderly and timely fashion. I will try and get more pics posted soon. http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/q..._105817929.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/q..._105901601.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/q..._105843096.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/q..._113026585.jpg http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/q...Dt_600x450.jpg |

I would like to have them with the pins if at all possible. Are the fenders sale-able, if not could you cut the sheet metal around the emblems?

Re: Parting out 88' Suburban 4x4
All I need would be the bumper and license plate light. Nothing else. How much shipped to 38225? Thank you.

I looked to day to make sure the tag light was still there and it is but I notice and fist size dent in rear bumper to the left of the tag area. I didn't notice it since it was dirty. |

Re: Parting out 88' Suburban 4x4
If you take the fuel tank out, can you please take a pic of the connector at the sending unit for the Fuel Pump? I have a new sending unit but need the truck side connector to wire in. Please let know if you have it, and how much shipped to Atlanta, 30044.
Thanks, Jay |

Re: Parting out 88' Suburban 4x4
Do you have the air distribution duct/vent that is located under the center of the dash directly in front of the hump? if so please send pics and ship quote to 87124. Thanks in advance!

Re: Parting out 88' Suburban 4x4
Thanks for the quick reponse, it's located under the dash in the middle. The part I need should be pointing down at the hump of the truck/burb. It's the duct the distributes the air, if you don't have this duct your ac won't blow cold from the upper/top vents.

Any idea if the wiper motor was in good working order?
Also might be interested in the delay control module if it had intermittent wipers. Thanks |
