Good 67 find close to home

3 Attachment(s)
I went and looked at this truck today and could not buy it fast enough. Bought it off the estate of the 2nd owner who bought it in 1994. It came with selling dealers folder, POP warranty book, absolute mint owners manual,67 Chevrolet Truck Chassis Service Manual and OSHAWA GM documents. No less than 26 options!!!! Noticed that RPO U01 was listed in the as built options but not on the Feb 5 /92 printed sheet.

What do you think guys? Do I need a fleet of 67's (Wife asked)

Does it still have all it's options? Those shoulder belts and cruise control are pretty rare. But what is Tires Quality Level? Never seen that one before, or the 4 note horn, seen those on Caddy's, but never a truck?

Looks good....so far, although there is not much to look at...lol.
One thing, the engine option has a optimistic tilt to it....with the '275hp' adder to it, lol.
Someone might have taken a little extra license with that number...

More pics!!...so far so good..

Bed rails,P13 SM spare carrier, Chrome trim around rear window. Glove box door replaced years ago due to one of the kids putting a dent in it. He said he was going to look through his late fathers garage for the original GB door and the missing shoulder belts. 3spd Auto with correct straight shift lever. (Member "Too Much Stuff" no need to locate one) Nice horn button. U08 dual horns. Miss print on the 1992 doc. Clearly U08 on the Oshawa spread sheet. Middle set of belts which I think may be one of the shoulder harness. I will have to do more digging when it warms up.

How is the ram steering to drive with? Decent or horrible? I'm restoring my 67 and decided to keep it and had it all rebuilt. Haven't driven it yet and hoping I don't regret not doing a power gear box.

I have one truck standard, one power box and the ram assist on this truck. 1st time for me on the ram assist and I like it better than the other 2.

Re: Good 67 find close to home

Ok good. I realize it won't steer like a brand new truck I just didn't want it to be so awfull that I wouldn't enjoy driving it. Thanks.

Re: Good 67 find close to home

Chrome trim around back window original? Never seen that. Can't tell from pic. but are corners separate pieces or is the chrome strip just one piece? Lock strip must just be chrome covered rubber insert material?
