2.5 lift. 33x12.5x15 with 8" or 10" wheel?

Hey guys so I'm looking to get tuff countrys 2.5 lift for my 71 k10. I'm also looking to get goodyear's duratrac 33x12.5x15 wrapped on a modular wheel but I cant decide between the 8" and 10" wheel. I'd like the tires to stick out some but not drastically. I'm worried about rubbing and what offset's I need. And I'd like to know if a 12.5" tire will go on both an 8" and 10". I will only be doing slight to almost no offroading. It will be a daily driver with a nice stance.

Summit has a 2.5", 3.75", 4.75" backspacing for their 8"

They only have 4" backspacing for their 10"

I've searched and searched but I've heard yes's, no's, will only rub etc etc etc. Any help would be appreciated.

This is how I bought it... Does this look stock to you?

Stock except for that square tube lift block. That needs to head to the scrap heap. get yourself a real set of lift springs. On both ends. And I would run the 10" rim on the 12.5" wide tire. 8's will rub on the leaf spring with 3 1/2" backspacing or more.

Thanks for the response. I didnt think it was stock. Its like that in the rear as well. So a 10" with 4" backspace and a 2.5 lift I'll be good to go?

If so I'll start ordering! :metal:

Yes. But if you ever want to go 35's, you will need a 4" lift. And some sort of steering correction. Steering arm the cheapest for GM solid axle fronts. That 2.5" square tube lift block has your truck sitting at about the same height the spring lift you are considering will put it at. If you want it much higher than it is, or any really, consider the 4". With front and rear springs. And the steering arm.
