65 C10 6cyl battery cable length?
 

Ordered a new set of cables from my parts guy last week. Went to install them on the weekend, negative is too short, positive is way too long. What length are they supposed to be? Yes, I've measured, I already have crappy parts store ones on there.

Ok, I went through the supplier's website to find what I need.

I had:
- 15" negative (too short)
- 65" positive (way too long)

Looked at their other cables, and ordered:
- 20" negative
- 48" positive

I'll update when I get them.

You could take an old piece of copper wire and run it along the route you want and use that as a measurement to purchase the correct length. So you dont have to buy things twice.
Or not.

I actually measured before calling the parts place the first time. They sent the wrong stuff.

I have a good parts place. I get parts delivered an hour after I call, and I don't pay up front. No problem with the wrong ones, driver picks them up on the next run.

That certainly makes things easier for you. Great to have a place that works with a person like that.
