I'm still here. My dad hasn't touched his 59 in a few years now. We're into the 67-72's now, he has 4 and I have 1 (2 of his are big blocks, as is his 59)
|
I'm here too. I have a '59 one ton that just gets driven and worked. Haven't begun to restore and probably wont for some time. Its in good shape and only needs new bed wood (maybe later this summer).
See ya around. |

Just stoped in to say hello and I am like the rest of you just waiting for more time to get started again on the truck
|
I'm still here! Been on vacation, and working on truck. Almost finished installing my shifter.

I don't have a truck that old yet, I sure like them though. I almost had a 56, but my friend didn't wait for me and sold it out of despiration for $600. GRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

OK! How do I get a "Fancy GOOGAH"
OK! I see everybody is adding "Fancy GOOGAH stuff" inside the box with thier name. How do you do that? rico_bob:bowtie: :D :bowtie:
|
Fancy GOOGAH was easy to do and looks COOL!
I figured it out all by myself! Who says an old dog can't learn new tricks?
I saw this 1954 Cameo drawing and had to copy it to show you first series guys and gals what might have been! The picture is a concept drawn by a very young GM designer who went right from college straight to the GM design team! His name was Chuck Jordan, and if you like, you can read more about this talented young guy who's inspiration gave us the Cameo and the Fleetside Pickups we all love. Go to these links to read more about Jordan. http://www.myclassiccar.com/eMag/clo...mx/jordan.html http://www.cameotruckclub.com/index.html NEAT STUFF! :bowtie: :bowtie: :bowtie: :bowtie: :bowtie: :bowtie: :bowtie: :bowtie: |
