1953 3100 body on a 1971 k5 chassis

This was my Pops High School Truck. He never got rid of it, always remember seeing it sitting on our backyard. My dad promised me when i was 16 I would get the truck. That day came and went (i got a 99 4runner and drove that **** out of it). Two years later when i was 18 my dad one day randomly said, "let get the truck running for you." Wow this day is really happening, we pulled the truck out of the backyard and brought it over to my dad's friend who is a mechanic. We got a new gas tank, sending unit, parts to rebuild the carb. I thought i was finally getting the truck. Well long story short. We got some parts to get it running and it ended up sitting in his back yard for 12 years. About 3 weeks ago I had AAA tow it to my house. It is now in my garage waiting to be put back to life. When my dad got the truck when he was in high school he bought it already built he didn't do anything to it. The body is a 1953 Chevy 3100 and yes it still has it's tag in the door. The chassis is a 1971 first gen k5 4x4 with the 292 and a 3 speed automatic TH350. I will find more out when i really get into the project. I got the motor start last week. we pulled all the wires and only had the starter and coils hooked up. It ran perfectly. Here are some photos of it and a video of it idling.

Thanks. i am going to order the new wire harness this week. hopefully someone will have a black friday special. I am ordering the Ron Francis 1947 - 1955 Chevy Truck Harness 16 Fuse = 18-20 Circuits. https://www.ronfrancis.com/prodinfo.asp?number=XP-735 Do you think this would cover all my needs for the truck? let me know. i plan on ripping out the wiring this next week..

Should I check out these other cheaper harness which everyone has been saying are comparable to Ron Francis and painless. Like the American auto wire power plus 13 or the rebel wire 9+3. They are both $ 250 and $ 200 bucks less then the Ron Francis.
