found out my radiator is leaking and my injectors are messed up, they no longer spray and seem to flood the motor to death.

sending unit was trashed due to rust as you can see, so I ordered a new one from amazon.

I did this over the course of the last couple days wasn't all today.

Finished up a mini makeover. Pacesetter headers, k&n round style air filter, magnaflow y pipe with new cat, painted inner fenders to match the truck, painted little odds and ends, new hood insulation, engine bay degrease and shine. Ill get some pics up later. Im happy with it though.

Drove mine about 120 miles today to pick up some rims from a FedEx office that i bought and had shipped. I haven't installed them yet, just set them beside it for some visual reference.

Thanks. I like them. I think it looks alot better than the stock rims. There a little big, but I think it will look good when i get it layed out.

took the canopy off (Girlfriend didn't like the idea of putting a bed in the back, she'llcome around) cleaned it up and bought some 80's 15X8.5 rally wheels, trying my hand at wire brushing them right now. If it turns out bad, I'll get them sandblasted.

Replacing EGR valve and putting on new hose. Short story- EGR was never hooked up!:crazy: So far removed( carboned up) old valve, cleaned up surface on intake, new gasket and installed. Just finished looking up routing for new hose to hook up. Thank goodness for this site. We'll see how she runs after this.

Ok well that didn't help my runability problem. Did keep the SES light from coming on. Was getting a light on around 15 to 20 min after i started to drive. code 32. Gonna give one of the local parts houses a call to see if they have a fuel pressure test kit for rent and check tomorrow. To be continued...

need an egr solenoid most liekly a plugin for it underhood and unhooked, could be casuing the code.

Pulled the cap off my MC resevoir...bone dry in there. No wonder the brakes have been spongy the last couple days. Should stop better with some fluid in it.

No, solenoid was plugged in. Vac line from tbi was intacked. What was missing was the hose from the valve to solenoid. Replaced valve because it didn't move at all. Hooked up hose and ran about 50 miles this afternoon w/ no SES light.

got a wild hair up my but today to finally put a shorter shifter in my truck. the nv4500 is quite sluggish and im tired of grabbing the shifter halfway down when i wanna get it. i took a shifter from as stickshift 95 s10 my buddy hd for parts. drilled and tapped the s10 shifter out and installed, but DAMN THE THROW IS REALLY SHORT NOW lol! have to bend down slightly to shift but thats not really a problem, its the 50 ft lbs of force ya gotta use to get it in the next gear, they def are closer in between thats for sure. dont know what to do now. at least it wont be in the way of the cupholder, and i can put that back in if i just get used to it
