wiring diagram for case 580 backhoe wanted
 

wondering if anyone here has a case 580 backhoe wiring diagram they could possibly send me. It is a 1988 model.
Neighbors backhoe doesn't have lights or heater working. fuses are good so I figure may as well check system out because there has been some butchering of the electrical wiring.
If someone does have it would you PM me a copy?

Cheapest I can find is a site that claims you can download one for $20. This may or may not be exactly what you're looking for. It seems dozens of people need the manual or the wiring diagram but I'm not finding anyone offering free help:

I called a friend of mine who was at one time a case mechanic, and he said those backhoes where bad to burn the fan switch and melt the wires at the connectors . It was usually in the wiring that ran up the cab post. The fan motors draws to much amperage for the wiring ,which also would causes problems with the wiring for the lights. It might be a place to start.

if you can get me the serial number of the machine i can get the exact drawin for that backhoe. my company has several case dealers and i can acess their online books tommorow.

i am trying to get the diagrams for you but my password to the dealer portal has expired. it will be monday before my it dept can get me a new one. there is a couple relays behind the fuse block that are prone to fail on the light circuit. if you have specific questions i may be able to answer them. i have worked on quite a few of them.

Thanks for the info. Waiting to see if a wiring diagram is obtained. Then I am sure I WILL have questions.
Several of you have said behind the fuse block. I have been checkin g around the lights and switches.

This is just ONE of the reasons I like this site. I sure appreciate what Josh, Liz, moderators, and subscribers do here. I am sure I am not the ONLY person who feels this way. I could not put up with all the :bsf: that they do.
