whats the diff. between these two leaf kits?????????

Didn't get any answers over on my build thread, its kind of quiet in the pre 47 forum. But anyway I don't understand what the difference is between these two kits. They both look like they are TCI kits but how can one kit fit 37-54 while the other only fits 47-54?????

What is.....

I could be wrong, but it looks like the one from Speedway motors mounts the leaf springs under the frame rails, where the other one mounts next to it.

Although true , It's not the answer I was looking for. I just want to make sure I order the right kit for my 46 as return shipping will drive me to drink if its not the right one.

Now I get the 27.99 answer.... haha. I am a little slow this morning. The one that mounts under the frame, if that is truly how it is, is probably the reason why the difference in years. Maybe due to the shape of the frame??? I am not familiar enough with these trucks to know, but I would give TCI a quick call to confirm. Might be best, so that you don't have to start that drinking. :)

If you open the instructions Speedway has listed, it says in the instruction it fits '47-'54. Maybe an error on Speedway's website?
