Questions:Swap`71Burb onto`91Burb frame

I own a`91 3/4t 4wd Suburban w/6.2 diesel(4L80E).The paint is faded and peeling and the left/rear 1/4 is caved-in from jack-knifeing.Has anyone swaped a`67-72 Suburban body onto a`73-91 frame?I can get a `71 Suburban(rust-free/AZ)for$4,000...around what the body work would run.Mostly,it would be"WAY COOL".Did I mention I have a Banks Turbo set-up,too?Any pointers would be appreciated.

best off swapping the motor and trans into the 71. The frames are totally differant. I am not saying that its not possible, but it would require alot of cutting and welding to get the body mounts to line up. I would be alot eaiser to pull the motor out of the 91 and stuff it into the 71.

The`71 is 2wd and I want to make it 4wd.I`ve seen where people had put`67-72 trucks on `73-up frames and they sat right.I just didn`t know if it was alot of work.I`ll just keep the`91 as a"beater"(hard for me). It`s nice to have something you can park and walk away w/o having anxiety problems. Thanks
