Here is a rendering that @jmforddesigns did and I changed a little so it looked like my truck.

I set the fenders, I started on the wiring with help of 1/2Dozen who is a member on here. We got it running :) I went with some nice headers that were for a c10 but work great for my build. I love the matte white

I like the seat !
Did you make a new back cushion for the top part of the seat or just remove some springs?

The upholsterer got rid of all the springs and hand molded all the foam.

Thanks guys. Finally got it fired up! Runs awesome. I made most of the rad support, I found some steel and used my sheet metal brake to make a fan shroud. Fits good. Hopefully I left enough clearance between the fan and rad. I also made some tabs to hold the condensor on. I painted it all with black raptor bed liner, love that stuff !

Here it is after I made the shroud

Looking really cool with the matte finish, I have done a few LS installs myself. I am working on a 38 chevy now that a 5.3 is going in and I will be using one for my project "Orangepeel" This will be #4 for me and you can't beat the drivability of these motors.

That is what I'm going for. This truck should be pretty light also so I'm hoping for a truck that I cruise all day long with no over heating, cool air, comfortable to drive and still has power :metal:

They can't be beat really..
The 5.3 I put in a customers 49 Dodge truck gets almost 28 MPG on the highway!!
Looking forward to the rest of your build.

Absolutely bad ass man. What did you do for your core support (is it home made) and mounting of front sheet metal? How high are your cab mounts above the frame?

For the core support i used some of the sides of the factory 52 part, and then I made the rest. I made l shaped tabs that I welded nuts to for the frame mounting part. The fenders still bolt to the core support part that I made and I did keep the factory hood latch.

:five:It's lookin good, you know it's looking so good:four:

Hey, it looks like you're using the stock seat frame, is that correct? The upholstery looks great but I'm questioning how that can be done with the stock seat? Seems like the springs wouldn't allow that much sculpting.

Anyway, outstanding build. Really love the look. Truly "outside the norm" and excellent. Congrats.

Yes, I'm using the stock frame but my upholsterer made the seat purely out of foam. It has no springs and is so comfy.
