Th400 kickdown

Sorting out a bunch of issues with my 68. One of which is no power to the kickdown on my th400. I installed a elderbrock nitrous switch on the elderbrock carb went right on seems like a great product. Now to find power for it. Will the power from the electric choke wire be sufficient for both? Or can I take it from the hei distributor wire? How much current does it require? I do not want to draw too much from any one item.
Thanks in advance.
Rick

Assuming that this was not a turbo 400 truck to start with?

I believe it was but not for sure. I know it has not had power there for years I hope it still works. I am thinking when the PO did the carb swap he did not hook up a switch for the kickdown. Also the electric choke has not worked for quite a while but there was power there and I have a new thermostat for it.

Re: Th400 kickdown

Get a gas pedal from a 71 or later, the kickdown switch mounts there and gets it out of the engine compartment.
