C-10 for auction on Govdeals`
 

Just saw this if anyone is interested in the Knoxville TN area. Full info in the link with pictures. Not my truck

Chevrolet C10 Pickup truck. NO KEYS. NO VIN NUMBER LOCATED. Selling as "Parts Only". Truck is in an unfinished stage of restoration. Small block Chevy V8 engine is in unknown condition but has Many new parts as seen in pictures. Automatic transmission is in unknown condition. Cab and other visible sheet metal appears to be in good condition with no rust showing. Interior is missing except for seat that has tears in the cover. Vehicle was seized 03/2017. No glass is in vehicle. Some items that are in the bed of the truck include: 2 inner fenders, tailgate, hood, radiator support, 2 chrome bumpers, cowl panel, grill, passenger door (drivers door is not present), window regulators, New ceramic coated headers and carpet. There are other items in boxes in the bed but they are at the bottom of the pile. Other items that are included are shown in the pictures. THIS AUCTION IS FOR A PARTS ONLY VEHICLE. NO VIN WAS LOCATED ON THE VEHICLE. You will receive a copy of the court order and a notarized bill of sale stating parts only.

was it the one where a kid was ripped off by his shop teacher?

or from a school or something like that?

Could be it was taken for income tax purposes. Or something similar. Half time time, the guys doing the inventory have no idea what they are doing. I've been in a few yards like that
