I can't wait, this is the first brand new truck or car I have ever bought, pretty excited. |

Took it in today to have a dual exhaust put on, I'm going with a thrush welded because I liked the sound on my old 97 Sierra with a 5.7.I've had it 6 days an only have only put 350km's on it and I'm already cutting it up :metal:.
Got a price on a levelling kit, it's a ready lift 2.25. Just gotta find out if 285/70/17's will fit. I'll try and get a video of it when I go get it later. I'm pretty happy, now the truck sounds like a truck. |

I did my 2011 with a Magnaflow setup and dual outlets. Good sound and a healthy change in flow. I also installed a set of Kooks headers on my 5.3.

Picked up a ready lift 2.25" levelling kit. Gonna be a bit before I get it on, gotta find the time to do it. Gonna run my stock tires for a bit, they are brand new after all, and eventually get some 285/70/17's on some aftermarket rims (haven't decided which yet). I might run some 255/80/17 on the stockers, if I can find some decent winter tires in that size (it's not looking good).

Hey, what did you do with the Bowties you took off the doors? That is a nice clean look...I have a 2011 Crewcab in here & would love to have the small Bowtie for the Silverado lettering on the tailgate.

:)OK.....thanks for the heads up....I took my tailgate bowtie off when it started peeling from behind, got it warrantied & have the new one in the box for later. I wasnt terribly upset because I've never liked how big the bowtie was....looked a bit out of proportion to me....congratulations again on the new truck!
