Faux-Tina Clear Coat Question
 

I'm in the early stages of creating a Faux-Tina finish on my '82 C-10. So far in I have not been able to locate a matte clear that is suitable to go over bare metal/rust. I know full well that that was never the intent of the paint manufacturers. For those of you that have done this what have you used and with what results?

Any other recommendations?
