Lots of good parts and vehicles there to purchase. Enjoy the pictures of the classic car restorables. Prices seem a bit high, but it is hard to find some of those body styles any longer.

I am surprised at the stiff 'asking' prices they are listing the rusted hulks for. I used to haunt the rust free junk yards in Arizona back in 2005 and prices were half of what this place is asking. People must recognize the huge cost of needed parts and the enormous amount of labor repairing rust, rebuilding mechanicals and reconstruction of the body, paint and interior. In my experience, I learned to buy vehicles that were finished, if possible. Cheaper in the long run.

Looks like another good reason to go to Lamar, Colorado. That's where my dad was born. Always wanted to go there and see if I had any cousins still boppin' around.

2 or 3 more good reasons and I'll do it!

Man, went through Lamar two summers ago on a motorcycle trip! Wish I had known this place was there. Next time I go that way I HOPE it is in the C10 I am working on now. :)

And YES, it looked like a nice little sleepy town that would be good to spend a few days in.
