I have a good idea of how much I want to lift my blazer thanks to a few members in an earlier post. Lets see some lifted blazers w/ specs!

Well for just a few more months it will look like this :D

4/6 Spring Lift (Offset to counter top weight, no rear sag)
No body lift, and 35 x 12.5 x 15's on 8" Rally's. Doesn't rub
for street cruising but would rub if you were to wheel it ;)

Here is a pic of mine . it started out with 4 inch springs with 4 inch blocks in the rear with broken leaf packs . I took all that out threw it all away got new 6 inch springs for the front with ORD shackels and shackel hangers for a total of 7 inches in the front . the rear is the ORD shackel flip kit with 3 inch rear springs and a one inch zero rate block to recenter the axle and that is for a total of 8 inches . The axles are a 3/4 dana 44 with 4:10 gears and the rear is a 1 ton 14bolt with 4:10 gears . The tires i have on it now are 36/14.50/16 on 16x10 procomp rims . also there is a one inch body lift in the truck to from ORD so the total lift is around 9 + inches give or take .

Not too much too it really, just bolted thm in place and used some 3/8" flatbar for the rear shackles on the front springs, i have no alignment/caster/front driveline problems running this setup. the thing drives straight and rides nice.

Did you have to move the front spring mount closer to the bumper? Are the73-87 front springs the same width? Thanks for the pics.

nope, they are installed in the stock position front hangers, the only thing i had to do was put the longer shackles in the back of the spring like in the pictures i posted of it to make up for the longer springs, i believe the springs are 2.5" wide as are all aftermarket springs i believe

6" Alcans and 42's here, with a set of zero rates on the rear and shackle flips.

36"s to the rock sliders and 22"s of ground clearance under the t-case skid.

*no pics of it sittin' still with the 42's on it so you to see the stance/lift, all the pics are of it twisted up or flopped over...:bowtie:

Re: Pics and specs of lifted blazers

Here are a couple pics of my 70 K5 with 4" front Superlift lift springs and the rear is a combination of a 2" block with custom spring perches on a 14 Bolt to level it out. IMO these 4" front springs probably don't measure out to an actual 4" lift - I'd say the have to be closer to 3".

I can't recall the exact height of these tires in the next two pics, I'll have to measure them and then updated this.

And the following are pics while I temporarily have some 35" Super Swamper SSR's on the K5 (they measure closer to 34.5")

4" Front springs with home-made 3" lift shackles. 6 " rear springs. 3" body lift. Only 36" tires, for now.

...oh and the most important thing: 8 year old co-pilot!

~6" suspension lift with 3" body lift sitting on 38" Radial TSL's. This made me realize that I need to take more pics of the truck.

I don't see anything wrong with it, 3/8 is plenty strong for that.
