Which is the power locks fuse in an 1987 Suburban?

I don't have an owner's manual, but I think I blew the fuse for my power locks. Anybody know which fuse is the one for the power locks? (My eyes aren't as good as they used to be to a diagram would be great!!

Cheers.

Far as I know there is no fuse, just a relay for the locks. I think it is above the gas pedal. I no longer have vehicles with those fancy gadgets ;)

Here is a YouTube that might help you

there is no fuse-the orange w/blk stripe wire is BAT constant power.

Hi gmachinz,

If there is no fuse, do you have any idea how I can rest the power door locks to work again? I really want to put my door panel back on, but I want to try to fix the locks first.

Cheers!

If there is no fuse, but there is a relay, I would place the relay. If that doesn't work, the it's the switches that are bad. The video that was posted, in a post above, kind of confirms that. There is no way of "resetting" the locks.

Looking at a 87 wiring diagram it looks like there's a circuit breaker in the fuse panels #24 location that controls the locks and power seat. If ya have power seats see if they work, or switch out the CB with the one in the #23 spot and see if that works. This will tell ya if it's a bad circuit breaker.
Or get yourself a cheap test light and test for power at the switch.
