ac compressor problems
I need to replace the ac compressor; the ac is compressor is making a slight vibration when running and when the ac is off the vibration stops so pulley and compressor are shot I am guessing. It even squeals a little until you shut off ac when first driving then after a while it stops squealing. Does that sound like the compressor is about to go all the way out?
I need a diagram of ac unit for the 2002 rear unit Tahoe but have not been able to find anything can someone post a diagram? :chevy: |

The vibration is caused by liquid slugging of the A/C compressor. This is an internal failure in the A/C compressor. The serpentine belt tensioner and serpentine belt will be damaged if the compressor is not changed.
I dont know what exact diagram you need but here goes nothin' |

Re: ac compressor problems
Thanks for the help and I am in the middle of changing the belts and pulley tensioners and need to ask is there a way to adjust main belt tensioner?
Does it need to be replaced when it has moved to its limits or can it be readjusted back? |
