Typhoon Blazer handling questions
Hey guys I'm from the 67-72 section but a co-worker has a Typhoon s10 Blazerthat he is real unhappy with the handling. He says it is real sloppy and the rear shifts bad under hard GO PEDDAL action. He asked me to give him a hand tweeking it for him and I think we will start with all new busings front and rear and check steering joints and so no. After that I am at a loss as to what works best for these vehicals. Do you guys have any imput that I can look into. He is not looking for a G-machine or anything but just wants it to respectfull street truck that does not regret driving around.
Thanks for the help! Kevin LFD Inc. |
Re: Typhoon Blazer handling questions
Check out Summit for good quality urethane bushings and check the steering components, beyond that there are tons of perf susp parts available for the S10/typhoon vehicles. Lowered and stiffer springs, brakes, bushings, etc etc.

Re: Typhoon Blazer handling questions
we have a customer with one. over 200K on the clock and it does the same thing. I imagine the leaves are walking apart under accelleration along with all the bushings having seen better days.

Re: Typhoon Blazer handling questions
That truck is AWD, and was designed to handle fairly well...
