This is a good idea. I always wanted a part fitment guide attached with such ideas but I could foresee way too many variables to be effective. Its hard sometimes on a ground up resto to search through hundreds of threads looking for the right part at the right price.

Really though, this sight is lacking when it comes to useful sticky threads. we could have one sticky thread for exterior parts, one for driveline/suspension parts, and one for interior parts, and have lists and links in the threads so you don't have to wade through a search returning 1000000000 results because you're trying to find out how to rebuild the steering column...

I completely agree. I don't think it's anyone's fault, It's just a lack of recognizing important information. Good luck with this thread, and I'll contribute where possible.

We could make a book out of this. There are endless supplies on items for these highly popular trucks. I think it's a good idea, just saying. I'm out of time right now, but will contribute more when I get back in town. And don't forget used parts, always a great alternative.

Bills Truck Shop (Oshawa, Ontario) ...classic GM truck parts
Scott's Super Trucks (Alberta)....classic GM truck parts.
