blinkers /4 ways
 

I have a 2001 HD 4x4 8.1 The 4 ways and blinkers suddenly stopped working yesterday after a long day of snow plowing, i did have the 4 ways on most of the day. The blinker indicators on the dash do not light up. All exterior light bulbs are good. Maybe the flasher relay but i can't figure out where the heck it is! Thank you for any help.

There is a relay . Probably got hot from running so long . It works the turn and flashers .


Its in an odd place under the head light switch behind the panel . You have to remove the upper panel and the lower panel to get to it . Yours should be a long relay plugged in . Not a bad job .

I would check the fuses first on the side of the dash first . The relay is behind that fuse panel but not accessible from there .
