88 k2500 stereo wiring diagram needed
 

just as it says i am needing an 88 k2500 wiring diagram i just bought a stereo for my truck and will be wiring it into my stock harness but i do not have the diagram. so if somone has one i would greatly appreciate it. i believe my truck came with a factory cassette player cause i had one and it had its own harness im not sure if that will change it but im adding that.

these colors go for just about all chevys 86-2002


orange is radio 12v
black is ground
yellow is switched power(thicker gage wire as there are 2 yellow wires)
brown and gray not used CAP OFF WIRE

tan is positive front left speaker
gray is negative front left speaker

lite green is positive front right speaker
dark green is negative front right speaker

brown is positive Left Rear Speaker
yellow is negative Left Rear Speaker(will be the same gage wire as the rest of the speaker wires)

dark blue is positive Right Rear Speaker
lite blue is negative Right Rear Speaker




standard wire colors for MOST after market stereos

yellow is 12v constant
red is switched 12v
black is ground
blue is power antenna (only used if has motorized antenna)
blue/white stripe is remote on (for an aftermarket or factory amplifier)
orange positive dimmer (usally not hooked up cap off)
orange/black stripe negative dimmer (usally not hooked up cap off)

white is positive front left speaker
white/black stripe negative front left speaker

gray is positive front right speaker
gray/black stripe negative front right speaker

green positive rear left speaker
green/black stripe negative rear left speaker

purple positive rear right speaker
purple/black stripe negative rear right speaker
