I found these in my old home town...

This is NOT a for sale post, let's please not turn it into one. I am just showing how these trucks are out there, in places we never even think of. I bought these this weekend not two miles from the house I grew up in. They were down a dead end county road that I never even knew existed. One is a 72 Cheyenne that has been beat all to hell, the other a 70 swb roller. I am going to bring them home as soon as I have time. They are still out there, you just never know where.

It's that infamous Oldsmobile "Rocket" engine, right? They put it in after taking out the factory Corvette engine. ;)

Actually a big block Olds makes some serious torque and would work pretty good in a truck!

Given that the BBC engines are so plentiful, and the parts to change from L6 or SBC are plentiful as well, one would think that an "upgrade" would head that way. But if someone already has a good running non-BBC engine available, they can do what they like. In fact, they can do what they like, any time, anyway!

Hey Tim. No, the roof is still intact, just has a piece of rug tossed on it to sort of cover up the broken back glass. Thanks, Fred.

We kind of thought so. There should be all we need to make the short bed a complete roller and then have a lot of good, desirable parts left over. Thanks, Fred.

We THINK it was hit in the rear, forced into an upright structure of some sort and that structure then fell down across the roof. Just some redneck detectivin'.
