Transfer case Identification

2 Attachment(s)
Seems I have a leak right where the 350 auto and x case connect. All my trans fluid seems to be leaking from there. Hiw can I tell what transfer case I have? As far as I can tell and know, the transfer case in my 70 k-5 is the stock original. There is C-99404 and an A1N just below it.

Yes trans fluid is leaking right where the transmission and transfer case bolt up

well then, you better keep an eye, on your trans fluid level, till you get the seals

old saying around here" if its not leaking, your out of fluid"

Re: Transfer case Identification

Also keep an eye on your tranny and transfer case fluid levels. When the seals in the adapter between these two start to go bad, the tranny can pump ATF into the transfer case. This will drain your tranny over time and fill the transfer case to the gills with ATF.
