Power Door Locks - No power to switch?

I'm trying to get the power locks to work again on a 98 Suburban. They were working fine and one day went out. None of the locks work, I checked the fuses under the hood, and on the side of the dash. Is there any other fuses? I also tried swapping to relay? thing in the side fuse box and locks still don't work. I pulled master door lock switch and I not measuring any power/voltage at the connector. Any ideas on how to fix? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Power Door Locks - No power to switch?

Fuse 19 supplies power to the switches(it also supplies power to the cig lighter , and is commonly blown), fuse 20 supplies power to the relay.

There should be power at the orange wire at the switch. Check the switch on the passenger door also.

There may be broken wires in the boot between the door and the body.

Ok, I'll check that out. Where is the relay located? I don't think I checked the right relay. Thanks

I just had a problem with my locks and I believe it was fuse # 13 which was the cigarette lighter. The fuse is in the panel in between the drivers door and side
of the dash board .

I was reading the fuse box wrong. It is fuse 13 that supplies power to the switches.

And a circuit breaker supplies power to the relay, not a fuse.

I finally got it working. At first I didn't think it was the cig lighter because my wife is always using it to charge her phone and stuff, but I decided to check all of the cig outlets because on the Sub, there is three, well sure enough the center one wasn't working. I checked the #13 fuse and found it blown. Locks work now. Thanks for the help.

Glad to hear.. Like 95 S TRUCKER said, you can read the fuse box wrong . They make it easy to read the fuses wrong.
