Neat style bumper here probably intended for use with a camper. On CL - could be yours: https://spokane.craigslist.org/pts/d...129477211.html

That is cool! I needed to do something like that for the camper truck I had but never did. e were always "climbing" in and "hopping" out.

This topper was my father's and had been behind the carport/shop for 20+ years. He had it on his 70 CST which was also my first truck. I cleaned it up and set it on my truck. I love the way it looks like it's always been there (on the truck) . Would be cool to find some orange bubble windows like Tim has to match the truck

Here is some pictures of the first topper. He hit ice the first winter hunting trip in 1969.

Have never seen one like that Pete, pretty cool. Wonder if it was homemade. When I bought my 71, it came with a similar contraption, but it was nice because it folded up to rest on the bumper. Assume it was offset from center to align with a camper's door. I wish I'd kept this old bird, it was a Cheyenne Super Custom Camper that was quite the turd until I slowly turned it into a polished turd at least.

Bought this one in July 2020 and sold it in September. Just didn't do anything for the truck. I ordered a Truxedo Lo Pro tonneau for the truck last week.

Picked up this shell from the original owners who purchased it at Tom Raper’s in Richmond Indiana for their new 1986 C20. Anyone from this region remember the commercials?

I do. Their jingle, "Save today Tom Raper's way!" is still stuck in my head.

Here is a couple pics of the cap I run full time on my 1972 Chevy K20. I found this cap in someone's front yard less than 10 minutes from my house with the windows broken, junk on top of it and a stream running underneath of it. No one was home so I left my number with the neighbour. A couple weeks later I got a call from that neighbour asking if I was still interested in the cap. I said yes, and he said the guy wants $35 for it. I said I'll be right there!

Suddenly worth $35! Glad you saved it. Looks right on there. I like the straight up sides and diamond pattern. This shape is what I was used to seeing in the era. The slanted sides with bubble windows came along a couple years into the '70s, but you saw a lot of 67-72s with them of course

Very nice set-up. I like that pattern stamped into the aluminum.
