Part number for GM trans/crank adapter? 5.3L to 700R4?

Does anyone have a part number for the trans/crank adapter for mating a Vortec 5.3L to a 700R4?

Thanks!

Hey Bob, I think they used the 4L60E stock, so I would think a stock flexplate would be all you need. Maybe I'm crazy...

12563532 has a cost of about 35.00. I do know that there is a difference in the gen 1 style and the gen 3 [5.3] style convertors and the length of the input shaft. I put an older style 4l60e in a 5.3 truck, it all bolted fine but the converter was pulled so far forwad that it poured oil from around the input shaft seal. So, I would assume thats where the spacer would come in handy. Jim

Thanks Jim!

Tony - I wasn't exactly sure why it was needed at first either, but every post I could find on the net said there was an adapter from GM that was needed to screw a 700R4 to a 4.8/5.3/6.0 Vortec. So I figured if everyone else needed one, I had better plan on getting one too!
