Roll Pan with Rear Chrome Bumper?

Currently I have a roll pan on the back of the 57. Is it possible to install a chrome bumper slightly under/in front of the roll pan? How would it be done. Below is a picture of a truck for sale on craigslist that appears, at least to me, to have a roll pan in combination with a rear bumper. This may seem odd to you guys, but my wife likes the chrome rear bumpers and wants me to put one on and so it will be done, if possible. However, I like the roll pan, but think the roll pan with the chrome bumper tucked in would look nice. How would you accomplish it? I tried searching with no success. Thanks.

No roll pan on that truck..just a bumper..what you are seeing is the rear cross sill in front of the bumper
I can't see a way you could ever have both a roll pan and a bumper and it look right..

That just might be a rear roll pan since it has the license plate mounted to it. I could be wrong but it sure apprears to be one. Anyway, since you have a rear roll pan, won't you have to go thru it to mount the bumper to your frame? I like the roll pans, I have one on mine. I like the clean look it gives.

the roll pan and bumper don't occupy the same space so i don't see why they can't both be installed
the bumper brackets would have to poke thru the roll pan

that said... if you use a bumper a filler strip may have the same look as a roll pan
the filler strip would be easier to notch for the bumper brackets and have the same basic look

You would have to have slots in the sheetmetal pretty much like a lot of late 30's early 40's cars had for the brackets to slip through. It would end up being more of a filler panel/ hide what's behind it panel than a roll pan when you were done putting the bumper on though. It possibly could give a cleaner look that only those in the know would catch. Not a thing wrong with that concept though.
