Tonneau Cover ???

Does anyone have or seen a tonneau cover for 1st gen Blazers??

I have a Jeep Wrangler and use on it when the top is off. I really like it as it keeps the weather out along with keeping what's under it hidden.

Also, while I'm at it, any info on a "windjammer"?? Hangs from the roll bar (if you have one) just behind the front seats and keeps air from coming back into the cab. They are awesome on cool clear nights where the top HAS to be off, but it's a little nippy out.

:D

Never seen one on a first Gen. I was thinking about a "windjammer" idea myself, but now I have a back seat. You would probably have to make your own or modify something off the shelf.

I have seen a fastback top that someone had made. If you good to a boat shop they may be able to make one for you or like bouncytruck said modify one for you.

Hey Guys,

The white K5 is mine. The Tonneau cover was custom made a few years ago. The tonneau cover extends futher forwand if I fold down the back seat. The back seat is from newer K5 that rolls and rolls forward. If you want I can see if I can dig up, the guy's name and number that made the top.

Blake,

Good looking ride.

I've got the fastrac soft top, so I may see if I can get one fabbed to work with the track. If it's not too much work, please post up the person's name who made yours for you.

Thanks for the ideas.

How did you mount that step? I need one of those.

I have one just like it on my blazer too.

It's bolted thru the rocker box. Kinda spongy. It was on the truck before I bought it

Same here, they are mounted through the rocker boxes and on the truck when I bought it. I would not recommend steps mounted this way. It wouldn't take much to screw up a set of rocker boxes.

Is your rear seat further forward than the stock position too?

I've got a set of steps that I was going to mount exactly how you are saying not to. Any recommendations on a better way to mount them? My wife can barely make it into the truck.

I don't have rocker boxes. I guess i'm SOL. I'll just try to fabricate some nerf bars to the frame. Nerf bars are so expensive though.

I am not sure about the back seat. The owner before me change the back seat to newer model blazer seat (fold and tilt forward style). I like this option, but the seat is too low. I need to find a way to boost the seat up about 6 to 9 inches and keep the tilt forward option. ???
