On my way to Sturgis

http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f2...0/IMG_0020.jpg

It is a 2000 screaming eagle road glide. It was the first bike that HD put a 95 inch engine in.A 95 inch engine is 1550ccs, they made 1550 of my bike in two different color schemes in 2000. I am just about to hit 100,000 miles.

^^^That`s a nice glide and i`m glad to hear you`ll using it the way it way meant. The time is coming or me to need a touring bike in my corral.
I just ride within a day`s ride on my`90 FLST.Sometimes one way all day but mostly round trips and just exploring. It`s been through a few changes.
Pretty much how I got by`92:

By`95 or`96 I had it like this. This picture was`07.That`s a different paint job.The second after the one in the prior picture:

Now.Paint job #5,if you include the factory paint.I have all that saved:

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle

Here is my 2005 FXSTi. I had to have the engine rebuilt last fall under my extended warranty, because the fly wheels shifted. I had them do a 1550 kit, SE-204 cams, port the heads and Dyno tune since I only had to pay for the hp upgrades. I already had the Pro Pipe, Power commander, and K&N air cleaner kit. The crank/ flywheel assembly, oil pump, cam support plate, and bearings are all new because of the shifted flywheels. The bike has 19,8xx miles on it since I bought it new for my 21st birthday. (also 21 years to the day after my dad bought his first harley.)I painted the gas tank, added a fatboy rear wheel after the spokes came loose on the stocker, fatboy handle bar, Nightster risers, black mirrors, and smoked turn signal lenses.

Thanks! Yeah its been all over the motorcycle web sites, alot of pissed off people. They actually were still making good profits and some new management at H-D got talked into cutting the brand because of a riff between Erik Buell and some older H-D employees. They said the reason was they wanted to target a younger crowd...hahha! Seemed to me Buells in the showrooms were doing just that!

I am aware of the solid rims.I do notice the crosswind some but have never "lost control"!!! Some people just freek out and that makes it worse!!
Bikes have been made with solid wheels for a long time. not just V-RODS!!:sumo::metal::metal:

Yeah I don't get it. Maybe some other company will pick them up. Like Triumph, and Indian did.
