Wheels and tires

I have a 01 GMC 4x4 pick up I'm going to redo, it's my daily driver. The wheels look pretty bad and I'm going with a new wheel and tire and I need some help. I was looking at the ION ALLOY 133 wheels. This is a budget deal and they seem to be fairly cheap. I'm raising it about 2 or 3 inches so should I go with a 15 in wheel and a 31/10.50 tire, or a 16x8 wheel and a 285/75/16 tire? I don't want them to stick out to much but I'd seen someone on here had a pic of his truck with early chevy rally wheels and it looked pretty good. I was thinking they had 4 in BS and 8 in wide. Give me some opinions please.

Re: Wheels and tires

Thanks for the help, I found that 4.3 back spacing, a 16x8 wheel, and a 285/75/16 works great.
